Wow, what a kick in the balls.

Julien has been fired twice in two years now, he was the coach of the Montreal Canadiens before and i can see why he got fired there, but jesus, 3 games to go before the playoffs? There's got to be something really wrong there for him to fire him or else Lamoriello is just anal about his team. Keeping in mind this isn't the first time he has pulled this sort of stunt.

"Real" Zelda Music

I was just looking at the Zelda Reorchestrated site again for new updates and stuff and decided to download the entire soundscapes volume 2, because all of the songs were being shown as new. I didn't realize that the soundscapes are actually the music from the game, but with background noises that make it sound really authentic and interesting. I especially liked Faron woods and the Fishing hole tracks. The sound quality isnow 192kb/s, an upgrade of 32kb/s from 160kb/s...

Meaning it sounds clearer.

If I were you, I would definitely check it out just to see if you like it.

Apparently the iPhone's release date has been confirmed by a Cingular customer service manager.

This is huge! I'm definitely getting this asap. Although I still have to pay off the damages from the accident I got into last friday. However the cost has been reduced to just under 800 bucks!

This is really neat. It just shows how small we really are. Kind of like when you look up at the starts and think about how insignificant you are. Although its not as spectacular as mother nature, its still pretty damn cool.

Black Zelda Wii Mod

A little while ago, someone made a custom shell for their wii that has a black texture like surface, and a Hylian shield complete with Master sword behind it.(Apparently the sword can come out of its sheath.) Anyways, it just sold on ebay for $1276!

I personaly prefer the simple white exterior, but if they ever came out with a black shell that looked decent I would be tempted...

Any colour that looked cool would be really sweet actually. except yellow. and probably not brown or purple either...

Puzzle Quest Contest

There is a contest going on at 4cr and siliconera where if you can put together a couple of clues, you are entered into a draw to win puzzle quest, which looks fanatastic!

I guessed ASH or Arcaic Sealed Heat and i'm pretty sure i'm right because the clues were a guy in front of a heating object and a picture of a seal.

I'll be sure to let the hundreds of devoted fans know if I win. :)

Update! I figured it out! (victory music plays) it was quite obvious so i'm actually kind of ashamed. However I'm honest and I really don't want to change an old post because I consider this like a virtual diary of sorts.

I've joined forces with a friend on a new blog for us to muse about gaming and things that interest both of us. Again its a bit of a work in progress but I'm pretty happy with the layout and the interface of Wordpress. Hopefully with the two blogs, I can really start to develop my writing skills and maybe people will actually be able to tolerate my rants and tedious reviews about things that don't interest them at all.

Both blogs will be open to anyone's comments because I personally hate having to register an account to be able to express my opinion.

Retro... Future?

I found an interesting blog called Paleo-Future, it is a blog talking about people's perception of what the future was going to be about.

There are some really cool articles about sea-cities and futuristic transportation as well as a bunch more articles on similar topics. There are currently 46 articles posted in march alone! So plenty of reading material.

Wow.

I can't beleive someone would call the wii a fad! Its ridiculous to think that a console with the pure number of games and the potential of the wii remote could be considered a fad.

Furby, Tamogotchi and and Tickle me Elmo really only do one thing. Furby says random things and says it again if you touch it or something. Tamogotchi is a simple game where you clean up and feed a digital animal, and Tickle me Elmo laughes. The wii will continue on its hectic pace and it will take, I think, 50% of the market if not more, forget about all the retarded people who don't know what their talking about. They're just jealous cause they don't have a wii yet.

I'm thinking that I will start listing the different artists that i'm listening to whenever I have enough new ones to talk about.

Right now i'm listening to Hotel Song by Regina Spektor. I like the way she sings, its kind of this carefree singing that forces you to go along with it and be happy at the same time. I listen to it when I go to sleep and it's really nice turned down.

I'm also listening to John Mayer's new album Continuum. Most of his songs are worth listening to however the tracks: The heart of Life, Waiting on the World, Gravity, and Stop this Train are my favourites.

I recently came across a site where you can download all sorts of Zelda music! so I kind of went crazy and downloaded about half of the tracks and some of them are now leading my play count in iTunes. (Wind Waker has some great tracks!)

Juno Reactor's album Labyrinth has been amazing, and I just recently got another of their albums, Shango. I really like some of their songs but others i'm not so into. Highlights are Nitrogen Part 1 & 2, Solaris and Song for Ancestors. Insects has a really great sound to it as well.

Shiny Toy guns, Joe Hisaishi, The Sounds, and Muse are also getting lots of playing time.

The Legend of Zelda Twilight Pricess is either my favourite or very close to being my favourite game. Every moment of the game is magical somehow. The art, the music, and the overall smooth gameplay really work together flawlessly to deliver one of the greatest videogames of all time.

No seriously it really is a sweet game all around. I say very close because it gets strong competition from games like Elder Scrolls 3: Morrowind, LoZ A Link to the Past, Halo, FF6, Chrono Trigger, Super Metroid, Metroid Fusion and a plethora of great games that have been released over the years.

I recently got in an accident, which sucks on its own, however the fact that i didn't hit the guy all that hard makes the 800 dollars that much harder to swallow.

Looks like games might be taking a bit of a backseat for a while. I had planned on buying WoW, Super Paper Mario Wii, and possibly a 360 along with Oblivion to begin my summer break but i'll have to try and pay for the damages asap so it might be a while before I have a 360 sitting beside my Wii.

CAD is amazing!

CAD, or ctrl alt del, is a must read series of webcomics that is both funny and quirky. Some would say its a blatent rip off of Penny Arcade, I've just begun to read PA so i can't really comment. CAD does seem to take most of their ideas, but the presentation is totally different. There seems to be an underlining story going on in CAD, if there is one in Penny Arcade it seems like it would be an afterthought, not the core meaning of the series. CAD and PA are very similar but so are many comics in newspapers and they seem to work.

Not a very creative first post, i know, but my blog hasn't found an identity yet, so until it does it probably won't be very interesting.

I'll talk about interesting pictures, comment on digg posts that are amusing and/or interesting and just talk gaming, movies and occasionally hockey. (Sens and Pens are the way to go!)

Even if i'm writing this with a target audience of 0 it should be fun and a good waste of time to go along with the countless other things i fill my day with.
